First Place, Baby!

Today we played taiko aboard RCW's float in Alameda's annual 4th of July Parade. Last year we got second place, but this year we were in it to win it. Yep, our entry won FIRST PLACE!! It was a team effort, with stilt walkers, belly dancers, hand drummers and other "characters" floating around. Crissy sewed costumes for Maze, and yesterday the team decorated our awesome flatbed truck:
This antique fire engine was also part of our caravan.
We played Mokuyobi nonstop a billion times in a row. Yes, that's billion with a B.
Maze group shot with the coveted trophy. Yay!!
The whole gang back at RCW. What an awesome parade!!
